We are not here to be just another church in the world. We desire to be a church that follows the great commission of Jesus Christ as put forth in Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (NASB)
We desire to mature in our Christian faith in 3 ways.
Everything we do at Grace Baptist Church is built around these simple principles of discipleship.
Jesus was asked which commandment of God’s was the greatest. His response is recorded in Matthew 22:37-40, “’You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.” (NASB)
February 15th, 2010
This coming Sunday, February 21st, we will be looking at Genesis chapter 1. The title of the message is, “In the Beginning God…” I hope you’ll be ready to worship as we learn about the one true God. We have 5 more weeks of the sermon series, “Revisiting the Mission.” InviteĀ a friend to come with you this Sunday… they just might say “Yes.”
